Each AirSensa takes continuous readings of key air pollutants (including NO2 and PM2.5) and atmospheric conditions, then sends the data back to our unique software platform (STORRM Cloud). The platform gathers readings from every location, and prepares it to power a range of real-time apps which interpret what it means for all of us. App features will include pollution avoidance journey planning, and high pollution alerts particularly for key vulnerable groups - children, older people, and those suffering from respiratory illnesses.
Owners of sites where AirSensa units are sited will be able to see the data from their own units, in real time, and are free to do what they wish with it. Schools will use it in lesson creation and for a range of cross-curriculum materials; building owners may choose to share the information with their employees as part of an employee engagement programme.
